This article is for clients using the Oasys client iOS app.
This article covers signing into the Oasys iOS app, accepting a therapist invite, resetting your password, Face ID / Touch ID, Google sign-in, and two-factor verification.
In this article:
1. Sign in
Open the Oasys app.
On Welcome back!, enter your Email address and Password.
Tap Sign In.
Placeholders say Enter your email and Enter your password. If a field is empty, you’ll see Please enter your email or Please enter your password.
⚠️ There is no patient “Sign up” flow in the iOS app. If you don’t have an account yet, ask your practice for an invitation.
2. Face ID, Touch ID & Google
After your first password sign-in on this device, Oasys asks Sign in with Face ID? Tap Enable Face ID and the login screen offers Sign in with Face ID (or Sign in with Touch ID, or Sign in with Biometrics) from then on. Tap Not Now and it stays off until you turn it on under Settings → Security.
The system prompt reason is Sign in to Oasys.
If biometrics fail: “Biometric authentication failed. Please try signing in with your password.”
You can also tap Continue with Google (shown under Or).
If you signed in with Google, password and two-factor changes are managed through your Google account (see Your profile & settings).
3. Forgot password
On the login screen, tap Forgot password?
On Reset Password, enter your email and tap Send Reset Link.
Success message: “Password reset link sent! Check your email for instructions.”
If there’s no account for that email, you’ll see “We couldn't find an account with that email. Please check your email or sign up.” Ask your practice whether they invited the correct address.
Sometimes you’re forced to change your password after sign-in on Update Your Password — enter New Password and Confirm Password, then Update Password.
4. Verification code (two-factor)
If two-factor authentication is on for your account, you’ll see Verification Code — “Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.” Tap Verify. An invalid code shows “Invalid verification code. Please try again.” To paste a code instead of typing it, press and hold the six boxes and choose Paste. Tick Trust this device for 30 days and this phone skips the code for 30 days, whether you sign in with your password or with Face ID.
You can also Sign Out from that screen if you need to stop.
💡 Turn two-factor on or off in Settings → Security. With it off, Set Up Two-Factor Authentication opens a sheet where you copy the setup key into your authenticator app, or scan the code from another device, then type or paste the first 6-digit code. With it on, Turn Off asks you to confirm, then asks for the current code from your authenticator app. The link under those buttons, Set up on oasys.health instead or Manage on oasys.health, opens your account settings on the website inside the app.
5. Therapist invitation
If a therapist has invited you and you haven’t accepted yet, you’ll see Therapist Invitation with a message that they invited you to connect on Oasys.
Accept Invitation — continue into the app (you may still need profile or care-team setup).
Decline — turn down the invite.
Sign Out — leave this login.
If accept/decline fails, try again or contact your practice.
6. Screens that can block you after sign-in
Screen | What to do |
Check Your Email | Open the verification link, then return (use Return to Home when offered) |
Complete Your Profile / Complete Your Minor's Profile | Use Complete on Web if the app requires website setup |
No Therapist Connected | Ask your practice to add you; try Go to Oasys Web or sign in again later |
Setting up your care team | Tap Check Again after a short wait |
Setting up access / Couldn't load this account | For minors: wait, Try Again, or Switch Account when your login has more than one account |
Connection Error / Connection Issue | Check your internet, then Try Again |
For security, Oasys locks after about 15 minutes of inactivity and shows Oasys is locked. Unlock with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode to return to the screen you left, or tap Sign out. Idle time counts while the app is closed too, so reopening it after 15 idle minutes shows the lock screen before any of your information. After 4 hours of inactivity, or 24 hours after you last signed in, Oasys signs you out and you return to sign-in. Under Settings → Security, turning Lock after inactivity off signs you out at 15 minutes instead of locking.
Frequently asked questions
My invite email expired. What now?
Ask your practice to resend the invitation. If an account already exists for your email, try Forgot password? and sign in after resetting.Face ID stopped working.
The login screen offers Face ID for the account that signed in last on this phone, so if someone else signed in after you, sign in with your password once to get it back. If your password was changed on another device, Oasys says so and hides the Face ID button until you sign in with the new password. If the button still doesn’t come back, make sure Sign in with Face ID is on under Settings → Security, and check iOS Settings for Face ID / Touch ID permissions for Oasys.I use Google sign-in. Where do I change my password?
In your Google account. In the app, Settings → Security will say password management is handled by Google.Who can help if I’m locked out?
Contact your practice, or use Contact Us in Settings after you can sign in.
